In 2020, we set out to solve a clear problem: removing defects from french fries without removing good product. By combining mechanical simplicity with deep learning software, we developed a defect removal system that focuses only on what truly needs to be removed. What started as a focused engineering problem has evolved into the next generation in automatic defect removal, autonomous, intelligent, and unmatched in real production environments.
